Vegan Energy Bar with Halva and Chocolate – Only 4 Ingredients
As some of you might know, a few months ago I left my job and decided to focus on my blog, dedicating myself totally to writing, photography, and creating vegan recipes.
Yes, this is what I do for a living now.
I don't have another job, and to my great joy, I earn enough to live comfortably and enjoy life. After all, that's what we're here for, right?
Among my other income streams are my cooking workshops, where I teach how to prepare healthy, delicious, protein-rich vegan food designed for active people.
If you haven't signed up for one of my workshops yet, I've opened several dates for the coming month, so hurry up and reserve your spot.
I hold workshops 3-4 times a month, develop recipes for commercial companies, and I'm also studying nutrition, metabolism, and biology at the Open University because I want to expand my knowledge even further after finishing my Sports Nutrition studies at Wingate.
I think you've gathered that I'm very busy and don't have much time to spend in the kitchen.
That's why I made this cute vegan energy bar using only 4 ingredients, which takes exactly 5 minutes to prepare.
It requires no baking at all, it's gluten-free, and you can find the ingredients in any supermarket—no need to go searching in expensive health food stores.
Short story short, I'm short on time today!

How to consume it
Eating one or two bars about an hour and a half before an endurance workout will ensure sustained energy throughout the session.
You can also just treat yourself to one piece whenever you crave something sweet.

No-Bake Vegan Energy Bar
Ingredients
- 2 cups Puffed rice cereal 60g
- 4 tablespoons Tahini 60g
- 4 tablespoons Silan (Date syrup) 90g
- 1/2 package Melted dark chocolate - 50g
Instructions
-
In a large bowl, mix the puffed rice cereal with the silan and tahini until you get a uniform and sticky mixture.

-
Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan (I used a small baking pan about 25 cm x 15 cm).
-
Flatten the mixture well using your hands. It is very important to press it down firmly, otherwise the bars will fall apart.
-
Drizzle the melted dark chocolate over the top.
-
Transfer to the freezer for at least two hours.
-
Cut into 16 pieces and enjoy!
-
Store in the freezer.
Notes
You can add a teaspoon of instant coffee or some berries to the mixture for extra flavor.
