3 Quick Vegan Breakfasts—and Finishing My Nutrition Studies at Wingate
It's official: I finished my sports nutrition studies at Wingate College (an Israeli sports and physical education college). And yes, I passed!
I'll admit it wasn't easy. But now that I have my certificate in hand, I can tell you that something has changed in me.
For the better, I promise. Everything I learned helped me get a much clearer picture of nutrition—and the wide world of sports nutrition in particular.
It also helped me understand just how healthy and sound a vegan approach to eating can be, and how many unfounded myths surround it.
But that's a post for another day.
Today, I wanted to share three recipes I created for Sunfrost (an Israeli frozen-food brand), using a new product they recently launched that I think is terrific.
They're bags of frozen fruits and vegetables for smoothies or satisfying smoothie bowls. All you have to do is blend, and you're good to go.
If you didn't know, freezing generally preserves the nutrients in fruits and vegetables. Sometimes frozen produce even has more vitamins and minerals than fresh produce.
Be honest—did that surprise you? 🙂
I added a few interesting extras to turn each smoothie into a delicious, nourishing, energy-packed breakfast. I also made this stop-motion video.
